Start stop function (disable)
Hey folks is there anyway we can permanently disable Start stop function? VCDS and OBD etc is not the permanent solution as these required the AIRCON and HVAC running, I heard there is a connector or something on battery if we unplug that the start stop function will be disabled is it correct?

No expert on it since we don't have that feature in North America until the 4M chassis was launched here, but I ran across it using VCDS and in the 'Green Menu', which is what tells the car what features are equipped on it...or not equipped; get my drift? Green Menu is hidden, so you need a VCDS or OBD-Eleven to make it visible, or you can buy a downloadable 'script' from www.carsie.net for a very reasonable cost also.
