2007 q7 vcds needle sweep option (long Coding helper not available)?

I read the coding instructions from audi enthusiasts.com but my screen doesn't have the long coding helper. I don't understand the 3rd picture which tells how to activate the needle sweep. Which coding do I change? I was able to get the seatbelt chime off and turn on the windows/sunroof by remote easily.

I don't see the needle sweep option, can you click on the dropdown for [0 -- 4F0 910..............] See if there is another group of settings.

Looks like there are lots of threads of people with 2007's that don't have the same settings as the other years.

I turned needle sweep and oil temp/lap timer options on via OBD-Eleven (quick program options) in both our cars (2010/2015)

Is that available on the Ross-Tech vcds?

Thanks, I think the problem is I have mmi 2 not 3 or 3+.

Yes, some mods won't work on early cars, and some will, but will need to be manually coded in with VCDS. Go to the Ross-Tech Wiki and it will show you most common mods and actions using VCDS, etc. Likewise the Ross-Tech forum has been going since early days, so root around in there to find stuff .
