SQ7 Disable exhaust valves - Fuse 3 o 4
I recently bought a 2022 SQ7. Very happy with it but currently exploring ways of improving the exhaust sound organically while maintaining warranty and avoid Active Sound Systems or any other device that produces a fake and artificial sound.
I read the possibility of unplugging the valves from the muffler so as to have the valves fully open at all times but you run the risk of the wires deteriorating, etc. I have also seen here on S5/RS5 section the option of unplugging the relevant fuse from the fusebox passengers side on a RHD car. It seems this is working fine for users who have done it on their S5/RS5, so I was wondering if anyone has implemented this little tweak on their Q7/SQ7. I thought it would be simple enough but when looking at the owners manual the exhaust doors/flaps/valves seem to show in fuse A3 and A4, amongst other things they control, and so slightly hesitant given these fuses also contain other items of the car, i.e. fuel injector, hot water pump, NOx, etc.
Trying to figure out which fuse I should unplug to disable valve action and have them fully open at all times, only fuse 3, only fuse 4 or both...
Your thoughts would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
