2011 Q7 TDI on cars & bids
Are these rigs finally getting the appreciation they deserve?
Glad I picked mine up when I did.
Did you notice how they misrepresented the details in that write-up? 2010 model has the 6spd transmission, for example. For one with only 40k, five owners? Very strange. One thing we know for sure on TDIs is they don't like to just putter around constantly at low speeds/low miles...low usage. That just clogs up all the emissions system gear, intake runners, etc. I'd bet that one's likely a TDI time-bomb.
We bought our '10 Prestige TDI in July 2019 w/85k miles on the clock for $16k (New HPFP pre-purchase by Audi, B&O system, new Audi all-weather mats & cargo area protector, hitch receiver, and in excellent shape in/out), and it still has a year + remaining warranty cause it was a buy-back, so the add-on 4/48 concurrent warranty began on the date we bought the car. I've already gotten more value out of the extended warranty than we actually paid for the car, and we drive the heck out of it. Currently at 116k 'rolling-coal-free' miles and runs like a Swiss watch on everything Liqui Moly sells for the TDIs.
I highly recommend the vintage, but probably not that bring-a-trailer listing.
