Default 18” vs 21” wheel set up weight difference

I couldn’t find any info after doing a search and I know it’ll be tire brand specific to be exact .. but in case anyone else was wondering.

18” OE Audi wheels with Continental CrossContact LX25 255/55/18 tires

69.0 lbs

21” I don’t think these are OE since I don’t see any Audi markings with ATR Sport 295/35/21 tires

73.5 lbs

I got the 18” wheels for winter and my FL trips.

Thanks for posting this.
Wheel/tire weight are often very overlooked by owners. It's funny how people want a fuel efficient vehicle or worry about 0-60 performance only to put heavy, large diameter, junker aftermarket wheels on their vehicle. (Not saying your 21" wheels are junker wheels, these actually seem pretty reasonable.)

Tires will vary a lot weight-wise from brand to brand and model to model but interesting to see the comparison. 4.5lbs per corner is pretty significant. Wouldn't make too much of a difference on the highway but city driving, this is a lot of mass to be constantly accelerating/decelerating.

Hard to beat the look of larger rims though!
