Another misfire thread. At wits end. Any help?
Seems like you covered pretty much all of it. Next I'd say start looking at the physical wires connecting all the different components. Maybe one or some of them have internal breaks of the copper. As in the insulation looks fine on the outside, but internally is broken.
(I've had an old Jetta that had this issue. Spark would cut out randomly, started wiggling the wires going to the Ignition Module, and the car cut out. Replaced the wires and worked perfect)
For testing, which will be labour intensive... I'd take a wire, ground one end (battery disconnected) then take your meter and touch it to ground and the other end of the wire, then start shaking and moving the wire around. If you loose continuity to ground at any time, there's a break.
