Adding another audi to the sable
I am picking up a 2007 A6 3.2 Avant. It is very clean and drives very nicely for a 16 year old car. I will be using this as my daily driver and using B9 S5 as my fun car. Does anyone know if I need to get a Bluetooth adapter to play music from my phone or does the car already have one? Besides watching for carbon build up, what else do I need to watch for?

and two, you need bluetooth adapter, I can recomend Mr12Volt, works great when it works.

Wired works 95% of time. Sometime I have to plug in/out to get going. I also added front and side camera, works great.

The right side speakers dont work. So I scanned it with my OBD11. I got fault code 02095 "component protection active" from researching this, I gather, I need to bring this to the stealership to get it corrected. I also got fault code 00470 " combination comfort databus in single wire". Maybe a loose wire somewhere???

I have 2006 and 2008 avants for 2008 you could get a blue tooth adaptor from eBay for $10 and a USB power supply. For 2006 you need to connect the adaptor to MOST bus.
So 2007 is anyone's guess.
I cannot tell what could be wrong with your Avant. if it is maintained and not flooded or something, it can run to 250K as I observed myself.
I would flush the brake fluid, and power fluid, replace the fuel filter, and replace the cabin filter. remove snow screen.
Also, check the rear window washer hose. it is known to leak on the amplifier.
So 2007 is anyone's guess.

this means someone replaced amplifier and did not code it to the car's VIN. This is not a public function.
I saw edgemotors posted video on youtube explaining how to recode it. But you need a different API, not the vagcom.
