Default 2005 audi a6 3.2 im begging for help i dont know where else to turn.

Hey guys how are you. Have a serious problem with my 2005 audi A6 3.2. I can't get the ac to work, blower wont even turn on. Sometimes the blower will randomly kick on for a second and then shut off. Also, every few times that i drive the car, i insert the key into the ignition, turn, and no engine crank at all, but radio and electronics come on as normal, so then i proceed to disconnect the battery and then reconnect and then i can start the car. once it starts it drives perfectly fine with no problems, when i start the car, the ESP light comes on and says "ESP FAULT, SEE OWNERS MANUAL" PARKING BREAK MALFUNCTION and the passenger mirror will start acctuating for itself and you can hear it click click click and eventually stop. but the thing is i can control the Ebrake like normal. im kind of desperate and there isnt anyone who has been able to give me an answer yet, the car only has 80k miles on it. I have checked all the fuses and relays, and everything is fine even had the ECU checked and that checked out all right. Please anyone, im begging for help, its my only way of getting to work and i really dont want to junk the car, because i feel like it could be a small problem.

well, I would turn into a mechanics parking lot and let them figure it out.

NO person on this forum can diagnose a problem for you remotely and without proper diagnostics and troubleshooting.

good luck. Posting your location would help with recommendation of a shop where to go.

I bought a new battery about three years ago, then it sat in the parking lot because the engine wasn't working good. started using it about a month ago because i fixed the engine. the battery was dead until a month ago, charged it and it has not died since then. is there a possibility that the battery can throw all those codes for some reason?

ofcourse.
also, you can check battery levels in cars MMI. Leep an eye where is stands before starting the car, and then after starting the car.

i have been doing that and it always says 100%. i even had a guy who used to be an audi tech look at my car and even he was confused. the car only has 80k miles and sat in an old ladies garage until i got it. so i know it didnt get flooded or in any accidents. im not sure if the immobilizer can cause the whole car to go haywire if that part is bad. Im a helicopter technician and it pisses me off that i cant troubleshoot this car. i was going to junk it, but at the end of the day its just another challenge. i have just been trying for quite a while, and im at the point where i want to give up, but im not going to. is there any advice you can give me on what parts to check?

I gave you an advice, take it to a skilled mechanic. Trust me on this one. There is a multitude of tests they can do and figure out, stuff that doesnt show on a scan, and it requires physical measurements and inspection of parts.
if its only 80K, its something stupid simple to fix all that. Dont scrap that car.

battery is most likely bad or going bad if it was sitting like that and discharged completely few times.

The MMI display on battery state is near useless as is is expressed as a % of what the Battery Management System thinks of as the battery's potential. When I see a massive flow of seemingly unrelated errors the battery is my first suspect. Get a solid reading of its voltage vs. what is reported out for Terminal 30. I am too tired to recall the floor for Terminal 30 voltage but I think it is around 11.3 volts. Also, your big hint for a state of charge issue is the Electronic Parking Brake. As the battery gets weaker the system sheds loads to provide power elsewhere. The EPB is one of the biggest loads and the first to get cut off by the BMS.

Thanks so much, yes it does say esp parking brake malfuction when i turn the car on. Sorry its my first time messing with an audi. if you dont mind me asking, where would terminal 30 be located? ill check the battery voltage and ill get back to you. So due to the code for the electronic parking brake code, could it be a sensor or should i change the electrical box for the parking brake. also if i do change it, does it have to be programmed to the car or can i just plug in and test it.

Ok, so what I see in this and I am but no means an expert is the battery voltage level is a high probability root cause of your slew of codes. High enough that it makes sense to do nothing other than address the state of charge in the battery for now. I personally have a 10amp battery charger that I connect to the two terminals under the hood on the passenger side to both charge the battery and to support the battery when I am doing diagnostics. I think Audi prefers 30amp chargers, I do not have one so I will often connect it the night before working on the car. Do not connect a charger directly to the battery while the battery is connected to the car that creates issues with the Battery Management System.

Here is a bit of a discussion of Terminal 30 which is probably a physical thing, but mostly a measure we get from diagnostic tools.

I hope this helps.
