A6 C6 Voltage drop with higher the rpm.
Hello, has anyone encountered voltage drop as RPM increases? C6 Platform, battery cable (the main fault for these cars) is brand new OE.
Measuring from terminals with voltage tester I see 14.5V but in fuse box where the ECM relays are located on idle there is 13.87-14.08V (TERMINAL 30)
Here is my battery voltage logged at each rpm. Where is the culprit? RPM logged in ECM Terminal 30 Battery Voltage

The voltage for the battery during charging will vary as the battery reaches the fully charged state. Once the battery is fully charged, the energy management system will cut back the charging voltage to prevent boiling the electrolyte. As long as the battery voltage is over 13 volts during charging, there is nothing wrong with the charging circuit. Anyway, why are you worried about a ~0.5V variation between low and high RMPs?
