C6 wagon are the best
- The new hybrid and super/turbo charged engine sounds like some complication which would never make 250K miles. That compared to a reliable 3.2L one I have in the C6.
- addition of air suspension also does not sound reliable neither.
- 20" wheels will not last on NYC roads.
- the front grill looks like some mid life crisis macho battle against BMW nostrils.
- the roof rails is a step down compared to C6 slim rails.
- the "allroad" is just bunch of plastic cladding all over the place to make it look like SUV..
I am too old for this and should start looking for a Subaru?
Comparably, my A6 avant, fully loaded for that time with Sline, keyless, literally everything, was 72k in 2007.
When I bought my current 2021 Allroad (used), I balked at the price. The sales guy made a good point. He said there can be a difference between price and value. He pointed out that the price was arguably higher than it should be for a used vehicle, but the value proposition might still make sense because there are so few available, so it all depends on how much you want one. Fair point.

The Allroad certainly has many technological and safety improvements over the my 2011 A6 Avant, but the design can't compare with the elegant profile of my model.
The Allroad looks like it's bulked up on steroids and it is indeed a larger vehicle than mine. For esthetic appeal, you can't beat the older authentic wagon.
I thanked my dealer but told him I'm going to keep mine for a while longer.
