Hi all, this is my first post! In a few weeks I'm trading in my 2010 A4 Avant S-Line for a 2009 RS6 Avant. The car is en route from Japan to Vancouver Canada and I'll pick it up and bring it home to Victoria, BC. Fortunately in Canada we have a 15 year rule for cars which were never sold in Canada.
I didn't see any C6 RS6 discussion threads so I figured I'd start here.

It has MTM stage 1 tune which is good for ~700hp. ~50,000kms and had a full engine service in the summer.

Plans for the car include:
- new rims - probably BBS CI-R: https://bbs.com/en/product-details/CI-R. (current rims will get snow tires put on for ski season)
- updated screen interface with touch screen, Apple Carplay etc (i'll search the forums to see what people have used and recommend - but feel free to chime in here too)

- (possibly) lowering kit - will search for suggestions in the forum - but feel free to chime in here too

The RS6 will join a few other fun cars in the garage: a 1979 Austin Mini that I've had for 30 years since I was 17, a 1991 Porsche 964 Turbo, and a 2005 Caterham Super7

The car will be my semi-daily driver, along with the Turbo and the Super7. It'll also haul family and friends to the ski hill, mountain biking etc. (in addition to the family mobile Volvo XC90)

Nice car collection. I am jealous of the RS6 Avant. I wish we could import those to the US but have to wait.

 

thanks @foghorn it was pretty quiet on here (not like other car forums I'm on so i was wondering if it was something I said!! Hit me up in 10 years and we'll see if we can make a deal

 

A of A is importing the RS6 Avant, but the MSRP starts at $125.8K for the 2024 model. But there are several used low-mileage older RS6 Avants (2021, 2022) on eBay around $115K - $160K

 

I was looking more for the C6 generation
