What is the mileage and maintenance history? Maybe time for some systems service such as plugs, oil separator, belts / idlers / tensioners, injectors, chain job, trans fluid and filter service, brakes, etc. Ideally get the engine running well with zero DTC’s.
Power increase usually starts with a Stage 1 ECU flash and if you want more then increase the blower pulley ratio with either a larger crank pulley or smaller blower pulley or both. Do some research as there are trade offs. Pulley ratio tops out around 3.3 unless you get into porting the blower and larger throttle body. Increasing the pulley ratio can shorten life of critical parts. Increasing the supercharger boost creates more heat and if the extra heat is not managed then the stock cats can literally melt which leads to aftermarket exhaust systems etc. Performance upgrades are all relative and you’re going to pay more to play more especially with the 3.0T.
