I have a 2005 A6, with basic MMI, and I would like to "hack" the speakers (not BOSE) for a new stereo.
The plan is to connect just after the existing amplifier.
As I see it, there are 6 pairs plus power and no. 36 (?).
Does anyone know which cable leads to which speakers?
Get a 9V battery and hook it to two wires, if you hear a speaker "pop" then you found the wires going to that speaker. Also note which direction the speaker moves (in or out, this will tell you the polarity of the wires)
Or why not just splice into the wires in the door going to each speaker?
