PT: Audi A6 C6 parking sensors auto activate
Hi there, I have a Audi A6 C6 from 2005. I have the MMI 2G High with parking sensores in the front and in the back. The sensors work fine and already testes each one of them. The thing is that since today, when I put in reverse, the parking sensors activate, it's like im moving foward. I have to press the parking sensor button and then they come on and show up on the display and make beep sounds. Until now everything was working fine, I would put in reverse and everything show up without problem. Please help me

Sorry to write again, but I think I didn't explain right. Basically I have parking sensores in the front and in the back. I used to just put in reverse (manual car) and it would pop up the animation in the MMI with the car and make that parking sensor sounds. Everything works fine with the exception that it doesn't auto activate when I put in reverse, I need to press that parking sensors button to enable them... Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

To anyone with this problem in the future, here is my solution:
while driving at night I noticed in a reflection that my reverse lights were on while driving foward. After some digging I found out that there is a reverse gear switch that connects to the gearbox under the car. Bought one new for like 10€ and went to change it. It was because of it, the spring on the old one was tired ahaha. I changed it and it fixed my problem like a week ago. Sensors activating just fine when I put in reverse along with the reverse light.
