The official repair manual for the C6 A6 is the Robert Bentley Repair Manual that covers MYs 2005 thru 2008 A6 and S6 (Bentley Stock No. AC66). The manual is on a DVD that is loaded onto a computer, so it can't be easily shared. Note that this manual will not work on Windows higher than Windows XP operating system.

6215 pages of information. It looks pretty much like the Bentley Repair Manual in a CD that I bought in 2005 when I had Windows XP, now totally inaccessible. I buy parts from Rockauto.com for some years now. I found this Shop Manual listed , and I bought it. Comes in a USB key or CD and PDF format. Now finally I have a complete manual again. The price US 20.79 for the CD and US 23.79 for the USB Key.

That's a great find. Even though I have the Bentlet Repair Manual, I went ahead and purchased one of these manuals so I could access on my Windows 10 desktop. I also purchase parts for my 1998 Dodge Ram pickup from Rockauto since they have the brands I want. Thanks for the link.
Is your vacuum pump leaking oil? There is a company that sells complete reseal kits for them, I believe it's "RKX" or "RXK", I have a few bags of them in my toolbox at all times, these oil pumps love to leak every 100k miles or so. Way cheaper than buying a new pierburg pump, they are expensive as hell.

I ordered that CD from RockAuto and found that it has incorrect figures with the figure titles. Since I already printed out pages from my Bentley Repair Manual for R&R the ATF service, I viewed Section 38 9L AWD to compare and found the errors. Given this incorrect information (at least in that section), I am returning the CD to RockAuto for a refund and wouldn't recommend this CD as a replacement manual. Too bad it isn't up to the task.
