Wheel spacers
Hi everyone! I have an A6 C6 (2008) Sline and was wondering if anyone tried adding 10-12mm wheel spacers before. I am thinking of installing ones but not sure which brand or size would fit my car without having any issues. If you have any previous experiences, please let me know what you think.

What's the offset on your existing wheels?
Why do you want to add spacers?
Have you tried googling to see if anyone else has already documented this?
ECS and TireRack are two sources.
Also, by the way, some tire shops won't work on a car with spacers due to liability issues.

The ET is 48 and I have R18 S-line rims.

Why do you want to run wheels spacers?
Wheel spacers can cause more problems than they are worth. Exact fit especially centering rings, perfectly clean hub to spacer to rim mating surfaces, longer lugs are all mandatory. Having said that, I have seen steering wheel vibrations at speed that were resolved by removing wheel spacers. Generally not recommended.

I installed 20 mm wheel spacers on my car (non S-Line) and ran the car with it for 8 years. No issues whatsoever. Makes the car look 100 times better and sportier. Handling was better too with much less side to side sways. The spacers normally come with the appropriate wheel bolts which are longer. I bought mine from ECS Tuning, made by ECS Tuning, back then. See below.
