The measure I use is under Engine (Module 1) , Measuring Blocks, then change 001 to 0093 and hit "Go!"
You are adding the number in the 1st and 3rd block and the 2nd and 4th block and the totals should be less than 8.
The Bank 2 measures here were a bit off normal (-0.7 & 3.4) I looked around and noticed a small oil leak at the cam solenoids and replaced the o-rings. Shortly after, they measure returned to normal. I check these at every oil change FWIW.
Hi there, I'm new to VCDS, I have an issue where 2011 Q5 with 135,000 miles, just turns but doesn't start, I've changed the camshaft positon sensor, crankshaft position sensor, Variable timing valve and magnetic adjuster and still no luck. I was hoping one of these would be defective and my issue would be solved....No luck.
I am assuming my next problem error is the the timing chain. I used VCDS and got to start the car for a few minutes. Here is the view where the Position 1 sensor bank showed a -45 degree offset, can this be true or is it a novice error? I haven't been able to start the car again. Looking for any and all help!
