Needle Sweep on 2006 c6 A6 S-line?

Needle Sweep on 2006 c6 A6 S-line?
Wondering if anyone can help me on this? I have seen a needle sweep plug-in on start up on the 2009+ a6 models wondered if there was anyway i could get it to work on my 2006 c6 s-line a6 avant and what software/hardware i might need?

You need VCDS and you can always try on your car. Generally it needs the facelift electronics, probably the color dash. But here is the instruction on how to
Facelift Cars - '58 plate onwards
1. Enabling Gauge Test/Needle Sweep
[Select]
[17 - Instruments]
[Coding - 07]
[Long Coding Helper]
Click on the second byte in the list.
Check the box for "Gauge Test/Needle Sweep active"
[Do It!]
