Default Autoheadlights not working
Hi guys im new here. I have an a6 c6 and now all of a sudden my autoheadlights not working but displaying no fault. What it could be problem??

When you say auto headlights not working, do you mean when you set the headlight switch to AUTO it doesn't work? Also, what year is your A6?

Yes i always keep it on auto but now not working the year is 2007.

Do you have a new windshield? Maybe the sensor is faulty?

Yes the lights works fine and the switch on automode is lit aswell. I dont think that is the sensor defective because there is no fault on the dash

For my 2007 A6 I believe that the reason for the Auto light mode not working is the crumbling wire insulation inside the headlight housing. I have been accustomed to switching them on manually.
