Squealing when turning at low speed
I have a 2007 audi a6 c6 2.7tdi.
Recently when turning at low speeds there is a loud squeal coming from the front of the car.
when looking at the auxiliary belt moving it slips on the power steering pulley meaning that the power steering pulley stops spinning. Im thinking its the belt or the tensioner that's causing the issue.
hoping somebody had some insight or may know what is causing it before i go and replace parts.

Could try unloading the tensioner and spin power steering pulley by hand. It should rotate smoothly, not have any shaft side play and not be hard to turn.
If you have the belt off then spin all the pulleys by hand and check everything for shaft play and loud bearings. Maybe it is time for a full belt / tensioner / roller service.
