Steering Wheel Compatibility
I Have a 3.2L and it has the steering wheel without paddle shifters, i was wondering if the steering wheel from the 2007 A3 is compatible, it has the same buttons and is the same wheel, this one just has paddle shifters.

it will work but you need to repin the airbag plug for your C6. You need to shift 3 wires around.
The Brown (Ground) wire needs to be repinned from port 7 of the yellow plug to port 1 of the yellow plug, the blue (horn) wire has to be repinned from port 8 of the yellow plug to port 2 of the yellow plug, the Red (+12v) wire has to be repinned from port 10 of the yellow plug to port 8 of the yellow plug.
you may also need to modify the yellow plug or reuse your old yellow plug to make it fit. There are usually “wings” on the side of squarish part of the plug that need to be modified to fit, usually you can cut off the wings with a sharp exacto knife or pen knife.
