Default 07 S6 Brake job time

Pads for this car are pretty easy to find, Rear rotors aren't too hard to find in Brembo and Zimmermann, however the front rotors are a bit more of a pain in the Azz.
The Audi Part number seems to be 4F0615301J and so far, it looks like neither of the above mentioned companies make them (Maybe I am missing something.
What I have found are Meyle (good suspension stuff), Ate no clue on quality, Textar same not as Ate, and of Course EBC have seen some not so happy campers with these.

Any, What are you C6s6 folks running for front rotors? not slotted, drilled or dimpled.

Thanks

I installed Textar coated front rotors and pads last Spring and so far I am happy. They did look exactly the same as OE and feel exactly the same when braking. As part of a larger order I purchased from JHM as the pads and rotors were near half the dealer price.

Installed new carrier bolts

Obligatory clean and lube the guide pins. This is how dry the pins looked after removal at 100,000KM’s. The previous owner said they did the front brakes but all they replaced was the pads.

OE S6 front rotors are pretty heavy at 38lbs each. I looked at some of the JHM lightweight brake kits. Expensive yes but they shave a lot of rotating mass which will improve acceleration and have improved cooling too. I was tempted.

Yea, I did see these, but I really don't think I would be needing them. It would be nice, if I was tracking the car or even did a lot of curvy road stuff, but honestly this car is 85% city driving.
