Default AU: 2007 Audi A6 2.0T fuel injectors

Hi need a little help here guys. I have an old 2007 Audi A6 C6 2.0T I'm trying to purchase a set of fuel injectors for my car but based on my searches on Google I haven't been able to come to a conclusive answer of what exactly the part number is.

06F906036 is the part number which seems to come up a few times but I have seen variations in the last letter and I'm not if it makes a difference if it's 06F906036A/F/P etc.

Would greatly appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this for me, or better still direct me to a link where I can buy a set. I'm not too fussed about it being OEM or aftermarket or china copy as it's for an old s**tbox that I just need to get running. Thanks in advance!

I would not buy new ones. Injectors seldom actually fail. The injectors from the cars we are driving have a very bad habit of the filter basket falling apart and clogging the injectors. This stuff can be cleaned out. They are fairly easy to clean and rebuild, It does help if you have an ultrasonic cleaner. Here is my theroy, a decent cleaner will cost you a little over $100.00, you can then buy a injector tester for say $60 the rebuild kit should be under $100. So you're in it for say less than $400.00 about the cost of 2 injectors. I have a post in the history back somewhere with a title of something like "Do not just toss parts at it" Talks about how to clean your injectors,
Take a look at this.

Thank you for your suggestion! However, I'm not in a position to attempt a DIY due to time constraints and the couple shops I've been to where I'm at did not even bother suggesting cleaning out the injectors, just telling me they need to be replaced, which indicates to me that they can't be bothered to do any servicing on the injectors and just want a quick buy and replace job. Which is why I was looking to buy the injectors myself so at the very least they won't be able to screw me over on the price of those.

Read through your post and seems very similar to what I'm experiencing. System too lean off idle and misfire in only cylinder 2 codes. Rough idle and poor fuel economy. What makes me pretty sure it's an injector issue is 1)I have swapped plugs and coils around and still same cyl 2 misfire 2) the car is extremely sluggish below 2.5k rpm ,but above it runs perfectly and seems to be making full power. 3) the problems disappear when I add Liquid Moly fuel injector cleaners to a tank of fuel, but if I add a fresh tank after, the problems come back. Tells me that the injector cleaners is making the fuel mixture richer and compensating for the bad flow, that's why I don't get that errors.

I'm hoping to get some cheap china injectors so that the car can run while I think of what to do(either sell/scrap/repair) coz there are some other things failing as well(coolant leak somewhere, alternator belts squeaking etc)

Ok, so if you are dead set on buying new/referb, check out injector rehab.
