As a newcomer, this marks my debut thread, much like my first Audi Q5 2011, which I acquired from a friend—a fantastic car indeed.I have some inquiries regarding the MMI AMI. Could I kindly seek your assistance?
I possess an MMI cable with a USB port on the other end (image attached). Despite trying various USBs, they aren't recognized in the Source, and the AMI in the media panel indicates Empty/greyed out (as attached).
It seems Bluetooth connectivity for music streaming isn't functional; it only connects for calls though. Could you please advise on how to rectify this? The cost of a new system is quoted at around 1000 Australian dollars, which I cannot afford to spare. Is the issue with the MMI cable, or am I overlooking something due to my unfamiliarity with Audi cars? Your guidance would be immensely appreciated. Attached few more images. I have tried resetting all settings as shown in the image (including MMI settings).

Make sure it's FAT32 formatted, and that at least one audio file on there is MP3 format. WAV is not supported.
Yes, B8.0 integrated Bluetooth is only for hands free, not streaming. MMI 3G+ in B8.5 added that support.
I attempted various USBs as suggested, but none proved effective. Ultimately, while attempting to remove the cable from the MMI port (to ensure it is connected properly), the push button for releasing the internal part broke. It seems that multiple issues are hitting me at the same time. The CD player fails to accept CDs upon loading and appears to become stuck once the CDs are inserted with some sound. And I can confirm that there are no CDs inside.
So the cable is bad, but the AMI device is still fine? That kind of AMI device on a MY11, you must have the Audi concert radio unit in the dash (ie, no navigation). At least that unit isn't so bad to replace. But concert is a single disc CD player, not a 6-disc CD changer (that would be Audi symphony).
