CZ: Audi A6 2.7L diesel - Multitronic CVT - Car will not move
a friend of mine has an Audi a6 2.7 TDI* CANA 2009 with multitronic and the car stopped running out of nowhere, the car revs up but won't move a bit. They say it stank after towing 50 km/h. It doesn't report any errors in the units, nothing on the dashboard either, the lever selector doesn't flicker either. Gearbox was shifting perfectly fine to this moment. The oil was changed 30 TKM ago. Any tips on what to go for? Thank you and have a nice evening.
Sounds like either a transmission or driveline issue. I would hoist the car and inspect all axles and driveshafts and if nothing obvious is found then, while still on hoist, idle the engine with trans in gear and see if any shafts spin. Don’t rev it up while in gear on the hoist unless the traction control is disengaged otherwise the car may start bucking.

OP, you said the oil had been changed 30TKM eailer, is that the trans fluid, or the engine oil?
