Default Finally Completed 3.2 SC kit

Hello, I'm new to the Audi World forum and I'm only 18 and bought my 2012 Audi Q5 3.2, 2 years ago and have always been obsessed with the fact that the 3.2 is the underdog of the Audi motors. 3.2 liters of pure German v6 engineering, the 13.2:1 compression ratio, and the maxed-out tune from the factory have always made it difficult to make any real performance with this motor but I am here to tell you I finally did it, it took me 1 year and 3 months to perfect it but I did it and I've put 8,000 miles on it without issue so far. If there's any interest I'll gladly spill my secrets so the world of 3.2 Audis can finally break that 300hp marker.

It would be interesting to know how you did it It is known that it is a naturally aspirated engine and does not have many tuning options. Maximum power gain was 10-25HP

It was an interesting challenge currently right now even after 8k miles It's only drivable in sports mode, drive simply doesn't work. I took it to the dyno before the supercharger and it made 243 and 203 ft-lbs of torque, then about 5 months ago I took it again once it was somewhat solidified and it made 286hp and 301 ft-lbs of torque, 3.2 is notorious for having powerbands up high like a two-stroke basically but It gained tremendous low-end torque. I have yet pushed her to her limit still in fear of blowing the pistons. Thankfully the 3.0 and 3.2 share similar blocks and heads I was able to use a lot of 3.0 parts such as injectors etc. I'm running a healthy 7psi of boost, I still have stock internals in the motor and transmission, these things are bulletproof but don't wanna risk it. But the little thing will walk scat packs and cocky bmw owners that's for sure. I'd love to get it back to the dyno to get another dyno sheet and see if I can push it past 300hp, I also love to make a YouTube video talking about my journey because I believe in the first independent person in the world to be crazy enough to do this.

Good catch. Definitely not a 2012. The pronounced body line crease (which I hate) is a dead give-away.

Funny, that body line is my favorite element of the B9. Though I do very much prefer the B8.5 overall.

It is just too much. My eye is drawn to it to the point that I don't really see any other features on the exterior. I prefer the subtle body line on the B8/B8.5 and like the way it disappears in the middle and then comes back at the rear. I've always thought of Audi as having roundish body lines and this line is so sharp/harsh on the B9 Q5.

Fair enough.
What I like about the B8 lines that you speak of is that they are a sort of "teaser" of box-style wheel arch extensions. I'd like to someday have a body kit made that exaggerates these into real fender flares and put a Group B quattro-inspired wrap on it.

whoever makes that body kit will make alot of money. I love B8s over b9s but i do think they look like bubbles without sline bumpers on it etc.
