FAULT CODE: P046100 ?

FAULT CODE: P046100 ?
I scanned my 14' 2.0T with OBD11 and this fault code came up: P046100 (it also says, "Full Range Level Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance and Status: Intermittent"). There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the gas gauge, as it seems to be reading fine. The needle goes all way up when I fill the tank, and goes down accordingly, so I'm wondering if the issue is not the sensor. I don't recall ever filling the tank with the engine running. Anyone have any other idea of why this code appeared? I'm reluctant to clear it for fear it could be something important that needs attention..
