Hi guys I have a quick Memorial Day question for y'all.
I have an obvious brake fluid leak coming from the rear driver's side wheel. I took off the wheel to visually inspect as best as I could. (Brakes are something I have practically zero experience with on my Audi - other than buying pads and rotors and having my mechanic install it).
It doesn't appear to be a leak from the brake line - but rather maybe a seal inside the caliper? Either way - I am buying a caliper with EPB to have my mechanic install in a week or two.
It's leaking maybe an ounce or two or three per day.
MY QUESTION IS - is this vehicle okay to drive for short trips? I will check the reservoir level daily and top it off when required. Or is it possible for me to lose braking power while driving?
