Bosco, welcome to Audiworld! Do you have the Owner's Manual? That will have a section toward the rear of the booklet that covers wheels/tires. There you will find the NORMAL load inflation pressures and the MAX load pressures for the various size wheels fitted to the car at the factory.
Inflate them per the pressures shown on the door jamb sticker.
Max. inflation pressure shown on the tire is a safety limit to not inflate beyond, never a recommended operating pressure.
the door jam is for 100h i have 100y xl on it now so
the owners manual says for 255/40r19 100y xl is 33 front max and min and back is min load 30 max 33 just seems low

You’re overthinking it, but it’s up to you which pressures to choose. Recommend by Audi is 33 front, 30 rear for normal loads (y or h designation, isn’t important in this respect), and that’s what I run mine at, and offers the best ride/handling balance.
What’s in the door jamb (aka the Ford Explorer Bridgestone tyre failure CYA sticker) is the maximum recommended pressure by Audi.
