2007 V10 S8. I am getting interment check engine lights. With codes related to SAI. I clear codes and it goes a few weeks before check engine come on, though I’ve seen a least two codes in the system without the check engine. This time around the check engine came on with 4 codes banks 1,2, 3 and 4 either low insufficient air flow, flow to low or flow faulty.
in the passed my tech was able to confirm the pump was working (though he commented it may be running slow) and it past the smoke test he performed. Let off with let’s see if the problem gets worse so he can further trouble shoot.
what are some os the possible causes to impact banks 1-4? This is the first time I am seeing all 4 banks come up. In the past I’ve seen 1,2 and 3 at different times.
I can't remember what codes I had on my 07 S8, but in the end, it was just a broken vacuum line that actuates the combi valve or something in the system that ultimately operates the combi valve.
The secondary injection pump is down at the bottom pretty much below the right side headlight. You have to take the belly pan off and then find the pump. I just looked at the self study guide and you'll find the pump and the solenoid valve N112 that has the vacuum lines hooked up to it. There is a "goes in" and a "goes out", I bet the vacuum lines attached to one end is split, inspect it as far as you can.
