Vacuum hose help
The blue dot is the location of the hose.
This is zoomed in that area of the broken hose.
I have been searching on E manual to find where this hose might run to but not much luck.
Open to any suggestions.. thanks for reading.
Looks like that might be #17 on the diagram. That one sits right on the engine block and is one of the first to fail because of the heat in that spot. If you plan to keep the car for a while I strongly recommend you replace all the rubber/braided vacuum hoses with silicone hoses. I did that 7 years ago and it eliminated many problems and made the car run smoothly. The hoses become brittle with age, as you have discovered. You are better off to just replace all of them now, It cost me about $30 for the hoses and took maybe 8 hours of time to trace them all and replace them. Mostly 3mm, some 5mm diameter.
