Confusion on quote for repairs
Thanks!
Edgar
thanks!
158K and this quote came from the seller I purchased the vehicle from, I just purchased the Q5 a week ago. I want to go back to them to get the car repaired but just wanted to get some more information.
Thanks for the reply!
And you are asking some DIY folks for advice? Bro you need to be talking to a lawyer, parents, or financial advisor so you can get out of this mess without spending all your money. It is not uncommon for a high mileage Audi to cost you $1000 per month in maintenance. Some have zero issues, but those that don't get expensive real fast.

By “them” I meant the shop I wanted to go to them and have them fix the car. Honestly, I didn’t want to get into all the details I just wanted to know what they meant by “coolant in the valley” I looked into it further and it has a leak at the pcv valve. Thanks for all the replies everyone!

Coolant in the valley means that coolant is in the middle of the V of a V6 engine in your case. It's not stating a source, because it could be a few things and they want several hours to take apart the top of the engine to find the leak. Sounds like you figured out the PCV is an issue. Hope that's all it is but do a coolant leak test to find out if it is more than that.
