Help- Break light question
Stock US spec 2014 Q5 TDi had the bumper repaired due to accident and getting an error message, Vehicle lights: system fault.
The triangle lights on the lift gate are not working at all. The strip lights in the lower bummer are acting as brake light and blinkers. Is that normal? I could have sworn the brake lights and blinker are the triangle lights in the lift gate. The shop is saying that the lower strip lights are the blinker and stop light for the car. But I don’t think so.
Can someone please confirm if the stop lights and blinkers should be the triangle lift gate or the lower strip lights?

The shop just called. The lights are working now. There was a loose connection for the lift gate latch. Must have been knocked loose while they were working on it.
