Time for PCV Vale replacement?
I don't see any signs of leaks on the garage floor, but have been seeing signs of a little bit of oil on the engine cover around the oil cap. Not thick pools of oil... more like the cover is a little "wet" or discolored compared to the rest of the engine cover. Given the age and mileage, it sounds like PCV Valve is ripe for replacing regardless of having to run any measurements even as a preventative measure.... any disagreements there? If I were in there swapping out the PCV valve, is there anything else that I should consider replacing as preventative measure? Spark Plugs were done at 68,600 miles... air and cabin filters done with oil change at 81,600 miles so they should be ok (arguably, oil could be changed while in there).
I did see the following thread... gleaned some insights there which has me wondering given the mileage if the vacuum measurements are necessary given age/mileage: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q5-...ed-pm-3013339/
Any advice or things to consider would be appreciated!
I have done everything. I’m starting to think with all the oil burning. The Cadillac converter is clogged.?????
