A8 d3 seats office chair conversion
I can get hold of a pair of A8 d3 seats at a good price. Want to convert to office chairs, with all functions working.
Has anyone done this? Or knows how to do.
Seats look complicated underneath!
My electronics knowledge is limited..
Plz advise..

You’d need to look at the wiring diagrams and go from there. If they will work standalone with just power, or if the seat modules need to talk to other modules in the car for them to work is something that you’d just need to trial and error. Seat heating and cooling, probably not. Worst case you could just manually power the motors via the override jumper connectors under the seat. Then at the very least you will have back/forth, recline, and seat height.
