Here’s a weird one … adaptive headlight warning light issue
I got a 2007 A8L sport package and it’s basically issue free
zero check engine light everything works
BUT …
I have the dreaded adaptive headlight issue light ..
andddd… I know there a vcds option to code it out
but … here is where it is weird
everything with the headlights works as it should .. it turns with the with left and right the highbeams work fogs all that .. works like it should … so whst The heck is going on and if I code it out it won’t work no more correct ? It won’t turn with the steering wheel anymore ?

What code do you have? Usually it’s a failing actuator motor inside the lamp fitting not operating properly causing the error.
Repairs are possible, but it involves surgery on the headlamp unit to repair/replace the failed internal parts.
Coding it out will mean they no longer move with the steering.
