2012 Q5 3.2 sucking sound when tap throttle in neutral, and when turning engine off
The only issue I have had with the car is that it stumbles on cold start for a few seconds, and then clears; it has done this for years. Other than that, it has and still does seem to run normally.
I used a stethoscope and can very clearly hear the sucking sound at all points around the throttle body and intake runner.
I tried finding intake leaks using propane but I think the O2 sensors adapt too well; I cannot even get a useable engine increase by injecting directly in at the throttle plate.
Here is a video clip with the car parked and I am stabbing the throttle; the sucking sound is easy to hear before each brief acceleration and also when I turn off the engine. Any ideas what or where to look?
