white smoke
i recently bought a 2017 sq5 i looked at the car fax and it said they recently replaced engine valve covers, and valve cover gaskets . but everytime i start it up it blows a white cloud of white smoke just at start up. any ideas on what it could be?

i havent checked the fluids i just bought it 2 days ago,
but the smoke only comes out as soon as a start it and then it doesn’t come out no more. but it has a weird smell. and it happends everytime i start it.

What is the mileage?
The best way to determine if exhaust is blowing smoke while accelerating in boost is to have someone follow behind you and report what they see.
A fluid is leaking into at least one combustion chamber and being burnt upon startup and it may also be happening while driving. It is likely oil or coolant so watch the fluid levels. If it is coolant then the expansion tank level will slowly go down.
