Wireless Carplay & Mr 12 Volt

Have any of you tried using one of the wireless Carplay adapters with your Mr 12 Volt units?

It's not wireless. You have to plug your phone into the unit for it to connect, at least you do on the unit I have which is the MMI 2G HIGH.
Is yours different?

They’re 100% wireless CarPlay.

Connect to mr12volt via Bluetooth and go from there. Phone WiFi needs to be on, and wireless CarPlay needs to be enabled in the mr12volt. Settings > System > Factory Mode > Phone Link setting > iPhone link type > USB & Wireless CarPlay (or whichever option you prefer)
