AU: P034000 camshaft position sensor circuit?
You should see in the measuring values camshaft adjustment intake bank 1 actual and specified, and they should be nearly the same. It seems this is managed quite differently from the Gen1/Gen2, where idle value is +28.0°. Never seen anyone post a blockmap-01 of an idling CNC, so nothing to work with there. But for a CYMC (Gen3 evo), the idle value was +5.0° for intake and +4.5° for exhaust. Odd, but whatever. I assume you see those values change if you log them while doing a pull and then coast and then cruise.
If you're not seeing an actual value, it might be the G40 cam position sensor (passes through the 14-pin hanging off the back of the IM; green/red on 1, blue/gray on 2, black on 3). These are all direct from the ECM: that green/red is 5V, and the black is ground. So confirm 5V from pin 1 to pin 3. You'd need a scope to investigate the signal on 2.
If you're not seeing any movement of actual, it might be the N205 cam position solenoid (yellow/red on 1, red on 2). That yellow/red, guess where it comes from.

G40 is the bank 1 intake cam position sensor, the "A" sensor, which would be codes P0340/P0341.
Wonder why they buried the G40 under the IM in the Gen3. The G40 on the Gen2 is right on top above the IM, like the G300 on the exhaust side on the Gen3.

you are right, it's G40, my mistake.
