If you are pretty certain that's the only leak source, then look up the part schematic and see if you can order that heater insert part or just the seal for it.
When my '10 started leaking DEF onto ground it was dribbling out just behind the RR wheel, and Audi said it was cracked tank, but I never got to eyeball it for myself. Wasn't complaining though as they just swapped the whole assembly out under warranty, which is what dealerships do...swap entire assemblies out.

Thank you for the response; The leak seems to be the rubber insert/plug the two harness wires run through. The DEF heater appears only to be available with the tank. I wish it were under warranty because it cost around $1500.

Well, you could always pull the heater or entire assembly from a 'donor' car/junkyard/parts recycler, etc., or find one online via part # search. If you buy a new one, then it's gonna be expensive part simply because it is an emissions control device, in short supply as multi-vehicle TDI models use it, and semi-complex.
The other alternative is simply to tune your TDI to Stage 1 and simultaneously turn off that reductant system once it becomes either non-serviceable, or a problem for you.
