Adblue problems
Hi, I’m new to Audi’s and diesels! First refill and after 20 mins I get engine light! Read the codes and it’s p207f ( reductant quality performance)
and p20F4 ( reductant consumption to low)
I realized after I’ve filled it the fluid I used was not isolated 22241 rated! I’m thinking I should drain the tanks but trying to find if there’s a drain or do I need to drop the lower tank to do this? I can’t find anything online for the q7. I’ve only found touregs and there’s looks to be different set up

That's really interesting, but there have been other TDI owners posted about getting codes after filling with lesser quality/purity, generic versions of the DEF reductant fluid. They like the good stuff. Also, DEF has a short shelf life, so that's a factor to consider also, and you never buy DEF with crusty deposits on it.
I stick to using the name brand (Peak Blue DEF) stuff which is pretty darn cheap at approx $13 for 2.5 Gal jug at Sam's Club, etc. Tractor Supply has it for $17/jug, etc., and pricing on DEF will vary quite widely depending on the selling outlet. This Peak branded Blue DEF has incorporated a backpressure relief valve that makes it super fast & clean to add DEF to this TDI's tanks...no gurgling or spitting air bubbles at all. Highly recommended.
