MMI DAB retrofit?
Hi, I have the MMI 3G+ system. Software number HN+_EU_AU3G_P0533. Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade the existing system to have DAB radio? Ideally I want it to use the standard MMI controls if possible.

Digital FM radio (HD radio) was incorporated with 2013 model year, at least in North American market cars. If you have an earlier car, then it would replacing a number of parts in the MMI system, and then figuring out how to code it properly. A much simpler option is just to add a Carplay/Android Auto kit to your older Q7 to bring it up to speed with modern infotainment systems, and stream whatever digital content you want that way. There are simple kits that install behind the scenes, so all you see is the car's factory setup, or kits that offer much larger MMI display screens, etc., depending on how far you want to take things.
