Default Can't seem to find standard amplifier

So my Q7 has the standard/basic sound system (non bose/b&o). I've been looking for the amplifier, I checked behind the luggage area trim where the bose amp would be but there's nothing there. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could locate it.
BTW I need to find the amplifier cause the 2 dash speakers on either side and the rear door speakers aren't playing, the only speakers playing are the 2 front door speakers and the center speaker in the dash

Have you put a VAGCOM scan tool on the car to see if any fault codes are present? Any fuses blown?

https://fuseandrelay.com/audi/q7.html

I'm not an expert at all on how the base radio is configured on the Audi Q7, but on most vehicles that don't have a factory 'upgraded' stereo system, like the Bose or B&O surround systems on the Q7, the amplifiers that drive the speakers are simply built into the radio's head unit. Perhaps this is not the case on the Q7, but I'd suspect that it is consistent with 'normal' base level car stereo systems.

I looked it up on Crutchfield.com, which is a well known, online car stereo specialty store. I used to buy from them to do stereo/speaker/system upgrades. So looked up the Q7 with basic stereo system, and chose the speaker layout you listed as responses to the system defining questions it asks, and it came back with options/facts about the system/ aftermarket add-ons and mods you can do, etc. There was no standalone amplifier listed with that system.

Check the low-hanging fruit...blown fuses, and scan the car for faults that may help you with the stereo, or with the car in general. The Q7 does possess the capability to shut down most accessory items in part or in full when the battery is low on charge/capacity, etc., so don't think scanning the car is unnecessary step. That is generally the first step on diagnosing any Q7; scan the car (using a VAGCOM capable scan tool) to identify any related fault codes.

I had a scan tool plugged in a few days ago and it said "poor connection with amplifier" or something along those lines

Perhaps you should revisit the scan tool again or review the scan logs, if you have them. Specific details is what you need to present. If your scan tool is good, then it will show you the exact path/item where the fault code is assigned, as well as the control module where it resides under, and you'll be able to view the part # and detailed description of it as well. Ross-Tech VCDS provides this level of detail, for example.

If your scan tool spits out only a generic, p-code error value, then that is not gonna be terrifically helpful for resolving technical issues on a Q7, but it is a starting point anyways.
