Transmission wiring issues
Hi guys, I’m new to the forum and I’m really hoping someone here can help me out 🙏, my 2011 Q7 had the dreaded coolant leak gearbox wiring loom issue, initially I gave it to a local garage, these guys completely took out the 14/15 pin connectors and hard wired the wires (botched that up aswell) this didn’t work so then I found a local transmission specialist who is very good and they changed the coolant valve and range sensor which has resolved most of the problem BUT the botched up wiring loom is still giving issues so they will sort the wiring out by soldering it and heat shrinking it (how it should have been to start with) also making sure the wires are connected correctly.
The issue we now have is that they don’t know which colour wire connects to which colour (although most connect to the same colour apparently there are some that don’t) so what i need from one you helpful friends is one of the below please, it would really really help me 😅
1/ wiring diagram for the gearbox wiring loom with the (now non existent) 2 black/pink connectors on it
2/ if someone is working on their car and has it in the air where they can easily see this wiring loom, photos of the connectors to showing which wire is going to which pin (probably be easier to use this)

Hiya! Welcome to the forum.
While you may get a response from someone who looks this up online for you, it'd be soooo much quicker for you just to go look it up yourself. The OC8 Aisin transmission is present on the Q7 (and many other Audi models) from 2011 forwards, so there's a fairly large dataset of year models. Many other car badges, like Land Rover, VW, and Porsche use it too, and will experience same issues, etc.
If it is a 'dreaded problem', then it'll surely be online detailed in the forms of forum threads and uploaded service/repair videos, etc. FCP Euro has some excellent videos on servicing and repairing common issues with the OC8 tranny (largely related to not changing the ATF), for example. The search bar on your internet browser is your best tool to locate archival information and videos on this topic. You may just need to experiment a bit with key words. YouTube also is searchable, btw.
