2018 Audi Q7 Prestige Excessive Oil Consumption
Hey everyone,
I have a 2018 Audi Q7 Prestige with 70k miles, and it’s been burning a lot of oil. I’ve had to add about 1 quart every two weeks for the past six months. Got an oil change three weeks ago, and the low oil light is already back on.
Took it to the dealership, and they confirmed there was no oil leak but suggested an oil consumption test, which costs around $500. From what I’ve heard, this is a common issue with some Audi engines. Before I go ahead with the test, I wanted to ask has anyone been through this? If it turns out to be piston-related, what are my chances of getting Audi to cover the repairs?

See if changing oil at 5000 miles isn't going to work. This is what the oil looks like at 5000 on my A4 .. "love in a canoe" as they say.
