"Theoretical" question about tire sizing...
Recently came across some Goodyear Wranglers on FB for stupid cheap. They'd fit my wheels (running stock 275/45R20 currently), but not sure if they'd fit the car... they're 275/65R20.
Their diameter is just about 4 inches more than my current setup. I fully understand they may not fit at stock ride height, BUT I am putting the Eurowise 2.5" spacer lift on soon. I figure this should open up a lot of possibilities for me. And ultimately, yes, I'd like small wheel+big tire, but $60 for 4 tires in good shape is too hard to pass up. What are your thoughts?

Look inside of your front tires at the upper ball joint; that's your clearance/worry point. I went to 265/50R20 AT tires and they don't clear it by much...AT tires tread is typically several mils deeper and you got the 'armored' sidewall rubber sticking out too.
There's certainly ways to go big on tires using spacers to get the necessary clearance from that ball joint. There are several dedicated build threads on here for lifted & off-road optimized Q7s you can use as a guide to what mods are required.
