Camshaft positioning sensor relearn.
my computer says it's the two camshaft positioning sensor. I checked the camshaft with a diagnostic computer and it said one camshaft was -1.38 degrees off, the other as -2.6 degrees off. It also has onother code for a flap...but i think its because of the sensors.
I've replacement both camshafcamshaft, oil is new, VVT actuator are working per computer.... i was going to clean them next, but I wanted to see if someone had a thought of how to fix this.
BTW i tried to run a relearn on the computer but it said the computer couldn't do that yet....i have a launch 2.0 2025 from Amazon. Was thinking of returning it due to not doing half the things it said it could do. No better than my older computer.
thanks for any ideas.
Buy a Ross-Tech VCDS (VAGCOM), as that is what actual mechanic repair shops use to work on Audi's & VW's, etc. It gives you full access. I own three VAGCOM capable scan tools now, as that's how long it took me to figure out I needed one with full access to DIY this car and save money doing it.
So far as camshaft sensors themselves go, they aren't that expensive and sometimes go bad over time, or when there is an internal mechanical failure that creates contact with the sensors.
There's not enough info in your post to determine anything from except that you DIY'd a complex repair job that must be performed exactly to spec.
Good luck!!!
BWT the other codes were p2006 and p2007. I didn't install the flaps properly so the system wouldn't open when accelerating. I’ll fix that tonight when I remove the supercharger…. I’m still learning

Start with the repair manual's procedural steps for the R&R of the timing chain & sprockets, and see if you missed something.
