Replaced steering rack now have 00778 code
I just replaced the steering rack on my 2011 Q7 and an now getting the 00778 code. I have an OBDEleven but cannot figure out how to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. Can anyone point my in the right direction?

Go to the Ross-Tech WIKI page online...just search for it. Look up the P-code there, or you can just look up the model and pick out the function you need to do.
It is extremely simple to recalibrate the angle sensor, but highly specific instructions regards to speed and steering wheel angles required, and when it can be performed successfully, as it is a timed sequence, etc., so you need to read all that. Best performed in a large, open parking lot. That's where I go to recalibrate mine when necessary to ensure I won't bump into anything or anyone during the drive procedure.
