Strange noise with new Bilsteins?
I just installed a pair of new Bilstein shocks in the rear and I'm noticing an odd knocking noise that wasn't there before.
My first thought was that one of the shock bushings or upper arm bushings was loose, so I've double-checked them and they're fully tightened to specs.
Has anyone else had similar problems with Bilsteins? I noticed that the lower shock bushing isn't as beefy as the ones on the original shocks, so I'm wondering if they're just not big enough.
